Reunião inicia estudos para adequação de espaços para a patinação em Porto Alegre, RS
O Secretário Municipal de Obras e Viação da Prefeitura de Porto Alegre, RS – Sr. Mauro Zacher recebeu os dirigentes da Confederação Brasileira de Hóquei e Patinação – Sr. Flavio Moreira – Vice-presidente de Patinação Artística e Radical, e Federação Gaúcha de Patinagem, Sr. Juliano Wagner – Diretor de Inline. O encontro deu início aos estudos para adequação e revitalização dos espaços da cidade para a prática da patinação como recreação e esporte. Na pauta para os próximos dias temos reuniões com o pessoal técnico para a definição dos materiais a serem utilizados que permitam o desenvolvimento das atividades sobre patins.

FIRS World Roller Games 2017 assigned to Barcellona (Spain)
During the FIRS Congress hold in Rome on February 21, it has been decided the Host City of the first edition of the FIRS World Roller Games
It has been an historical Congress for the Federation Internationale of Roller Sports: two great presentations made by the delegations of Barcellona and Lima in front of more than 60 countries forerun the announcement of Hoosting City for the first ediotion pf the World Roller Games. FIRS President Aracu: “The World Roller Games will be a spectacular event gathering for the first time in one city the world championships of ten roller disciplines: artistic, speed, rink hockey, inline hockey, roller freestyle, skateboarding, inline freestyle, inline downhill, roller derby and inline alpine. Chosing Barcellona meant to confirm the great appeal both this city and the roller sports have on youth: I am sure it will be a great opportunity for both.
During the Congress, also the 2016 Speed Skating World Championships and Artistic World Championships have been assigned respectively to Nanjing and Novara. Another important step on the way of modernization made by FIRS in the last years regarded the new corporate image launched during the congress: a new logo, more representative of all rollersports disciplines and the new official website that will be soon online.
Attended the Congress international guests from the sport world: Marius Vizer, Sportaccord President, Mario Pescante IOC Member, Francesco Ricci Bitti AISF President, Josè Perurena IWGA President, Raffaele Chiulli ARISF President, Riccardo Fraccari ARISF Secretary General, Christian Wassmer from th IOC Sports Department and the Italian NOC Secretary General Roberto Fabbricini.

Escolha da sede das “Olimpíadas sobre Patins” – ROLLER GAMES 2017
No dia 21 de fevereiro, durante o congresso da FIRS – Federation Internationale de Roller Sports em Roma – Itália , será escolhida a sede dos Roller Games 2017, entre as candidatas Barcelona (Espanha) e Lima (Peru). Este evento revolucionário a partir de 2017 , reunirá todas as modalidades da patinação, uma verdadeira “Olimpíadas sobre Patins” – substituindo todos os campeonatos mundiais em separado – com provas de Patinação de Velocidade, Patinação Artística, Skateboarding, Roller Freestyle (Slalom / Agressive) , Hóquei Tradicional, Hóquei Inline, Inline Alpino, Inline Downhill e Roller Derby. A expectativa é da participação de mais de 6.000 atletas ao longo de 16 dias de competições. No dia 21, às 12:40h – hora local de Roma – será anunciada a candidatura vencedora em uma coletiva de imprensa.
